Beef and Bean Chile

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can beans (I used black)

Saute beef, onion, and garlic in oil, combine remaining ingredients and simmer for at least ten minutes. Season with salt and pepper. You might want to add a can of tomato paste to thicken it. So good and easy! I like easy.

I made it with black beans, too. It was excellent, and especially good because my husband doesn't like kidney beans.
